IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY CLICKING 'I AGREE' DURING REGISTRATION, YOU ENTER INTO A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT WITH VEDIC SILVER ARTEFACTS LLP. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT REGISTER OR USE THIS PLATFORM.
CLAUSE 1 — DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions shall have the meanings ascribed:

"Company", "We", "Us", "Our" — Vedic Silver Artefacts LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered under the LLP Act, 2008, with its principal place of business in Hyderabad, Telangana, India (GSTIN: 36AAZFV9736D1ZC; CIN: ACN-0066.

"Platform" — the website www.vedicsilver.com, mobile application, and any other digital interface owned and operated by the Firm.

"User / Buyer / You" — any natural person or entity who accesses, browses, registers on, or transacts through the Platform.
-
"Registered User" — a User who has completed the KYC-verified registration process on the Platform.
-
"Products" — silver articles, silver artefacts, pooja items, religious articles, silver jewellery, decorative items, gift sets, and all other goods listed on the Platform.

"Order" — a purchase request submitted by a Registered User for one or more Products.
-
"Transaction" — a completed purchase and sale of a Product pursuant to an accepted Order.
-
"Making Charges" — charges levied by the Firm for craftsmanship, design, and fabrication of silver articles, jewellery, and pooja items, disclosed separately from metal value.

"Hallmark / HUID" — the Hallmark Unique Identification Number issued by BIS-authorised Assaying & Hallmarking Centres under the BIS Hallmarking Scheme.

"Fineness / Purity" — the proportion of pure silver in an article expressed in parts per thousand (e.g., 999, 970, 925, 916).

"Reporting Entity" — as defined under Section 2 of the PMLA, 2002, which includes jewellers engaged in cash transactions of Rs.10 lakhs or more.

"Sensitive Personal Data" — as defined under the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011.
-
"Applicable Law" — all central and state statutes, rules, regulations, notifications, and judicial orders in force in India.
-
"GST" — Goods and Services Tax as applicable under the CGST, IGST, and TSGST Acts.
-
"Consumer" — as defined in Section 2(7) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
-
"Force Majeure Event" — as defined in Clause 35 of this Part.
CLAUSE 2 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
2.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Silver Pricing Policy, KYC/AML Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Exchange Policy, and Product Care & Warranty Policy, constitute the entire binding agreement between You and the Firm.
2.2 Acceptance is effected by clicking the 'I Accept' checkbox during registration. Passive, implied, or presumed consent is not accepted, in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2.3 the Firm may amend these Terms at any time. Registered Users shall be notified by email and/or Platform notice. Continued use after the notified effective date of amendments constitutes acceptance thereof.
2.4 A digital record of your acceptance (timestamp, IP address, user ID) shall be maintained by the Firm in accordance with Section 4 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
CLAUSE 3 — ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
3.1 Eligibility Criteria

Must be at least 18 years of age with legal capacity to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872

Must be a citizen or lawful resident of India; NRI transactions subject to FEMA compliance
-
Must not be insolvent, of unsound mind, or legally disqualified from contracting
-
Must not have a previously suspended or terminated account on the Platform
-
Minors may only purchase through a parent or guardian who registers on their behalf and assumes full liability
3.2 KYC Documents Required for Registration

Full legal name (as per government-issued ID)

Valid mobile number (OTP-verified) and email address

Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar / PAN / Passport / Voter ID)

PAN Card (mandatory for purchases exceeding Rs. 2,00,000 per transaction — see Clause 13)

Full delivery address with PIN code
3.3 the Firm reserves the right to request enhanced KYC documentation at any time, particularly for high-value transactions, unusual purchasing patterns, or to comply with AML obligations under the PMLA, 2002.
3.4 You are solely responsible for the accuracy and currency of your registration information. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate account suspension and may attract legal liability.
3.5 One Registered Account per individual/entity is permitted. Multiple accounts shall be subject to deactivation without prior notice.
CLAUSE 4 — PRODUCTS, LISTING AND GENERAL TERMS
4.1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS: the Firm shall endeavour to provide accurate Product descriptions including: material and purity (fineness), net silver weight in grams, total price inclusive of GST, dimensions, hallmark status (HUID where applicable), and country of origin (India).
4.2 PHOTOGRAPHS AND IMAGES DISCLAIMER: Product photographs on the Platform are representative. Due to: (a) handcrafted nature of silver products; (b) colour calibration differences between devices; (c) inherent variations in artisan craftsmanship; actual products may differ marginally in finish, patina, texture, and appearance. Such differences shall not constitute grounds for return unless they amount to a material discrepancy from the stated description.
4.3 PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: Listing of a Product does not guarantee availability. Upon stock-out after Order placement, the Firm shall notify the Buyer within 24 hours and initiate a full refund or if the buyer is open for waiting until procurement, we are happy to serve.
4.4 SET ITEMS: Where a Product is listed as a set (e.g., pooja thali set, jewellery set), the components of the set are described in the listing. Any missing component shall constitute grounds for return under please refer our return policy.
4.5 GIFT SETS AND FESTIVE COLLECTIONS: Silver gift sets and festive collections are specially assembled and may include complementary items (e.g., velvet boxes, puja accessories). These complementary items are not subject to separate return unless the primary silver article is being returned.
CLAUSE 5 — PLACING ORDERS AND CONTRACT OF SALE
5.1 An Order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract of sale is formed only upon despatch of an Order Confirmation (email/SMS) by the Firm or upon actual dispatch of the Product, whichever is earlier.
5.2 the Firm may decline any Order without assigning reasons, including but not limited to suspected fraud, unusual quantity, suspected resale, or failure of payment authorisation.
5.3 A GST-compliant Tax Invoice shall be issued for every completed Transaction and shall be delivered physically with the Product or electronically to the registered email address.
5.4 The Tax Invoice shall reflect: GSTIN of Firm, HSN code of Products, silver weight, making charges (separately), GST rate and amount, and total payable amount.
5.5 QUANTITY LIMITS: the Firm may impose per-order and per-month quantity limits on Products to prevent commercial hoarding or resale. Such limits shall be displayed on the Product page.
5.6 Bulk Orders: We do accept bulk orders for corporate gifting (silver coins with brand logo etc…) wedding gifts, return gifts on occasions with tailored content, bulk cutlery and plates for restaurants etc… The price for bulk orders will be negotiated based on the quantity and design, please connect us on connect@vedicsilver.com.
CLAUSE 6 — PAYMENT TERMS

6.2 Payment Security
All online payments are processed through an RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator. the Firm does not store card or banking credentials. All digital transactions use PCI-DSS compliant encryption. the Firm shall not be liable for any unauthorised access to your payment information occurring at the payment gateway level.
6.3 Cash on Delivery (COD) — Specific Terms

6.4 Failed Payments
In case of payment failure where the Buyer's account has been debited, the Firm shall initiate reconciliation within 3 business days and refund any confirmed erroneous debit within 5–7 business days.
CLAUSE 7 — GST, TAX COMPLIANCE AND INVOICE POLICY

7.2 For intra-state (Telangana) transactions: CGST + SGST (Telangana) shall apply. For inter-state transactions: IGST shall apply.
7.3 The Tax Invoice shall be a valid document for input tax credit (ITC) claims by GST-registered Buyers.
7.4 IGST implications for international / NRI purchases shall be governed by FEMA and applicable Customs / Import regulations.

CLAUSE 9 — POOJA ITEMS AND RELIGIOUS ARTICLES — SPECIFIC TERMS
9.1 The Firm sells a range of silver pooja items including but not limited to idols (murti), pooja thalis, diyas (lamps), kalash, deepam, agarbatti stands, aarti items, and other religious artefacts.
9.2 RELIGIOUS SENSITIVITY: the Firm respects the religious and cultural significance of these items. Buyers are advised to verify size, design, and specifications carefully before ordering, as these items are considered sacred.
9.3 CONSECRATION: the Firm does not offer 'pre-consecrated' (praan pratishtha) items. The Buyer is responsible for any religious consecration ceremonies as per their tradition.
9.4 RETURNS FOR POOJA ITEMS: Due to their religious nature, pooja items that have been used in ceremonies or rituals are not eligible for return or exchange. Unused pooja items in original packaging are subject to the standard Return & Refund Policy.
9.5 WEIGHT VARIATIONS: Handcrafted silver idols and pooja articles may have a weight tolerance of ±3% from the listed weight due to the artisan nature of fabrication. This is a standard industry practice and shall not constitute grounds for return, provided the variation is within this tolerance.
9.6 PATINA AND TARNISH: Silver naturally develops a patina over time, particularly on artisanal pooja items. This is not a defect. Care instructions are provided with every pooja item and in Product Care Policy.
CLAUSE 10 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
10.1 All content on the Platform including logos, designs, photographs, text, audio-visual content, source code, and compilation of all content is owned by the Firm or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, Trademarks Act, 1999, Designs Act, 2000, and applicable international IP laws.
10.2 the Firm's trademark, trade name 'Vedic Silver Artefacts LLP'/Vedic silver, and all product design marks are the exclusive property of the Firm.
10.3 No part of the Platform or its content may be reproduced, distributed, republished, transmitted, displayed, or modified without prior written permission of the Firm.
10.4 A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes is granted to Registered Users.
CLAUSE 11 — ANTI-COUNTERFEITING AND AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE
11.1 the Firm guarantees that all Products sold on the Platform are: (a) genuine silver of the stated purity; (b) hallmarked by a BIS-authorised Assaying & Hallmarking Centre where mandatory hallmarking applies; and (c) sourced from reputed artisans, silversmiths, and registered manufacturers.
11.2 ANTI-COUNTERFEITING COMMITMENT: the Firm shall not sell silver-plated, silver-filled, or otherwise adulterated articles as pure silver. In the event any Buyer believes they have received an adulterated article, the Buyer may: (a) report to the Firm's Grievance Officer; (b) have the article tested at an independent BIS-recognised testing centre; and (c) if adulteration is confirmed, the Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund of the Product's value plus all charges incurred in testing.
11.3 Providing false complaints of adulteration with malicious intent shall be treated as a breach of these Terms and grounds for account suspension.
CLAUSE 12 — BULK AND CORPORATE GIFTING ORDERS
12.1 the Firm accepts bulk orders for corporate gifting, wedding gifts, festival gifts, and religious/puja sets from businesses, trusts, institutions, and individuals.
12.2 Bulk orders of 10 (ten) units or above shall be treated as a Bulk Order and may attract special pricing. Pricing shall be communicated in writing (quotation / proforma invoice) and shall be valid for 7 days from the date of quotation.
12.3 ADVANCE PAYMENT: Bulk Orders shall require an advance of 50% of the Order value at the time of Order confirmation, with the balance payable prior to dispatch. Customised bulk orders require 100% advance.
12.4 LEAD TIME: Bulk Orders (especially for personalised / engraved items) shall have a minimum lead time of 20–30 business days. Timelines shall be confirmed in the Order Confirmation.
12.5 BULK ORDER CANCELLATION: Cancellation of a bulk order after commencement of production shall be subject to deduction of production costs already incurred, not exceeding 30% of the Order value.
12.6 GST-REGISTERED BUYERS: Corporate Buyers with GSTIN are requested to provide their GSTIN for issuance of a B2B Tax Invoice eligible for ITC.
12.7 Bulk Orders for silver above a cumulative invoice value of Rs. 2,00,000 shall be subject to the PAN and KYC requirements under Clause 13.
CLAUSE 13 — HIGH-VALUE TRANSACTIONS AND PAN CARD REQUIREMENTS
13.1 In compliance with Section 206AA and Section 269ST of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002:

PAN Card is mandatory for all transactions with a value of Rs. 2,00,000 (Rupees Two Lakhs) or above per transaction.
-
Cash transactions (COD or otherwise) in excess of Rs. 2,00,000 in a single transaction or an aggregate of Rs. 2,00,000 in a day are strictly prohibited under Section 269ST of the IT Act, 1961.
-
Failure to provide PAN for transactions above Rs. 2,00,000 will result in the Order being placed on hold. TDS at the rate of 20% may be deducted at source if PAN is not furnished, in accordance with Section 206AA.

The Firm reserves the right to seek Form 60/61 as applicable where PAN is unavailable.
13.2 For transactions with cumulative value exceeding Rs. 10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs) in a financial year from a single Buyer, the Firm shall comply with enhanced KYC obligations under PMLA Rule 9.
13.3 All such high-value transaction records shall be preserved by the Firm for a minimum period of 5 years as required under PMLA Rule 10.
CLAUSE 14 — USER CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You agree not to, and warrant that you shall not:

Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose

Purchase Products for commercial resale without prior written authorisation from the Firm
-
Impersonate any person, entity, or falsely represent affiliation
-
Submit false, defamatory, obscene, or misleading product reviews or ratings
-
Attempt to circumvent security measures, reverse-engineer the Platform, or gain unauthorised access
-
Use automated bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools on the Platform
-
Manipulate prices, payment systems, or promotional offers through fraudulent means
-
Place Orders with no genuine intent to purchase (phantom orders), causing the Firm loss
-
Engage in price manipulation or coordinated buying to corner stock of a Product
-
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
-
Violate any applicable Indian law including the IT Act, PMLA, Income Tax Act, or Consumer Protection Act
CLAUSE 15 — PRODUCT REVIEWS, RATINGS AND USER-GENERATED CONTENT
15.1 Registered Users who have purchased a Product may submit product reviews and ratings on the Platform. Reviews must be genuine, based on actual product experience, and non-defamatory.
15.2 the Firm reserves the right to moderate, remove, or decline to publish reviews that: (a) are abusive, obscene, or defamatory; (b) contain personal information of third parties; (c) are not based on actual purchase; or (d) violate applicable law.
15.3 the Firm does not pay for, fabricate, or incentivise reviews. Soliciting or posting fake reviews is prohibited under Rule 4(9) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
15.4 By submitting a review, you grant the Firm a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and use the review on the Platform and in marketing materials, with attribution to your registered first name and city.
15.5 You retain ownership of your submitted content. the Firm shall delete reviews associated with your account upon verified account deletion requests.
CLAUSE 16 — MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND TRAI DND COMPLIANCE
16.1 By registering on the Platform, you consent to receive transactional communications (Order confirmations, shipping updates, delivery notifications, return/refund status) via SMS, email, and WhatsApp.
16.2 You may separately opt-in to receive promotional communications (festival offers, new arrivals, loyalty programme updates). This opt-in is voluntary and is sought separately from the registration process.
16.3 In compliance with the TRAI Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018,the Firm shall: (a) register its SMS header and templates with TRAI's DLT platform; (b) respect DND (Do Not Disturb) registrations; and (c) provide a clear opt-out mechanism in every promotional communication.
16.4 To unsubscribe from promotional communications: (a) click 'Unsubscribe' in any promotional email; (b) reply 'STOP' to any promotional SMS; (c) manage preferences in 'My Account > Notification Settings' on the Platform.
16.5 Opting out of promotional communications shall not affect transactional communications which are essential to your Orders.
CLAUSE 17 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND PAYMENT GATEWAY DISCLAIMER
17.1 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (payment gateways, logistics tracking portals, BIS verification portal, social media). These links are provided for convenience only. the Firm does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites.
17.2 PAYMENT GATEWAY: Your payment information is processed by a third-party Payment Aggregator/Gateway licensed by the RBI the Firm does not have access to your full card or bank account details. Any dispute regarding a payment transaction must be addressed to your bank / card issuer as well as to the Firm.
17.3 LOGISTICS PARTNER: the Firm uses third-party courier and logistics services. Delivery timelines are estimates provided by the logistics partner and are not guaranteed. the Firm shall not be liable for delays attributable solely to the logistics partner, except where transit insurance claims apply.
CLAUSE 18 — GIFT VOUCHERS AND STORE CREDIT POLICY
18.1 the Firm may issue Gift Vouchers and Store Credits from time to time, the terms of which are as follows:

Gift Vouchers are redeemable on the Platform for purchase of Products up to the face value.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
-
Gift Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
-
Store Credits are issued in lieu of cash refunds (only with the Buyer's explicit consent), are valid for 6 months, and are account-specific.
-
Gift Vouchers and Store Credits cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers unless expressly permitted.
-
In the event the Firm discontinues its operations, Gift Vouchers / Store Credits shall be redeemed within a notice period of 90 days published on the Platform.
CLAUSE 19 — LOYALTY AND REFERRAL PROGRAMME
19.1 the Firm may, at its discretion, operate a Loyalty Points Programme and/or Referral Programme. The specific terms, point accumulation and redemption rules, and expiry conditions for such programmes shall be published on a dedicated 'Rewards' page on the Platform and shall be subject to separate terms.
19.2 Loyalty points are not transferable, have no cash value, and may be forfeited upon account suspension for breach of these Terms.
19.3 the Firm reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Loyalty or Referral Programme with 30 days' prior notice.
CLAUSE 20 — SEASONAL AND FESTIVAL OFFER TERMS
20.1 the Firm may offer special prices, discounts, free gifts, or other promotional offers during festivals (Diwali, Dhanteras, Akshaya Tritiya, Ugadi, etc.) and other occasions.
20.2 All promotional offers shall: (a) clearly state the offer period; (b) specify eligibility conditions; (c) not be misleading as to the original price (in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019); and (d) be subject to stock availability.
20.3 Promotional prices shall be displayed with the original MRP to enable comparison. the Firm shall not artificially inflate MRP to misrepresent discounts, as prohibited under Section 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
20.4 the Firm is not responsible for technical errors on the Platform resulting in incorrect prices being displayed. In such cases, the Firm reserves the right to cancel Orders at the erroneous price after due notification to the Buyer.
CLAUSE 21 — PROHIBITED TRANSACTIONS
The following transactions are prohibited on the Platform:

Purchase of Products for resale or commercial purposes without prior written authorisation

Purchase using stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorised payment instruments
-
Purchase by or on behalf of any person or entity subject to sanctions or debarment under Indian law
-
Purchase of silver in violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, by non-resident entities
-
Transactions that violate Section 269ST of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (cash above Rs. 2 lakhs)
-
Placing Orders with fraudulent or non-existent delivery addresses
-
Exploiting pricing errors, system glitches, or promotional offers in bad faith
CLAUSE 22 — ACCESSIBILITY AND NON-DISCRIMINATION
The Firm is committed to making the Platform accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. The Platform shall endeavour to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to the extent reasonably practicable. The Firm does not discriminate against any Buyer on grounds of religion, caste, gender, disability, or any other ground prohibited by Indian law, including the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
CLAUSE 23 — PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
The Firm's collection and processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy set out in Part II of this document, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in Part II.
CLAUSE 24 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
24.1 the Firm provides statutory warranties that all Products: (a) conform to their descriptions on the Platform; (b) are of satisfactory quality; (c) are fit for their ordinary purpose; and (d) comply with applicable BIS hallmarking and Legal Metrology standards. These statutory warranties cannot be excluded by contract.
24.2 Subject to statutory obligations, the Firm's aggregate liability to any Buyer arising from or relating to any Transaction shall not exceed the Transaction value.
24.3 the Firm shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
24.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Firm's liability for: (a) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (b) death or personal injury caused by the Firm's negligence; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
CLAUSE 25 — CONSUMER RIGHTS AND REDRESSAL
25.1 As a Consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you are entitled to:

Right to be informed about quality, quantity, potency, purity, and price of goods

Right to access goods at competitive prices

Right to be heard and seek redressal against unfair trade practices

CLAUSE 27 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND JURISDICTION
27.1 NEGOTIATION: Disputes shall first be referred to the Grievance Officer for attempted resolution within 30 days.
27.2 MEDIATION: If unresolved, the Parties may approach the Consumer Mediation Cell established by the Telangana State Government or any accredited mediator.
27.3 ARBITRATION: Disputes not involving Consumer claims may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with: (a) Seat: Hyderabad, Telangana; (b) Language: English; (c) Arbitrator: a mutually agreed sole arbitrator.
27.4 JURISDICTION: Subject to the foregoing, these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana. Consumer Buyers retain the right to approach Consumer Commissions as per Clause 25.
CLAUSE 28 — FORCE MAJEURE
The Firm shall not be in breach of these Terms for any failure or delay in performance caused by: acts of God, floods, fires, earthquakes, epidemics, pandemics, war, civil disturbances, government restrictions, regulatory actions, port closures, power outages, cyber attacks, strikes, or any other event beyond the Firm's reasonable control. the Firm shall notify the Buyer of any such event promptly and shall resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.
CLAUSE 29 — GOVERNING LAW, SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
29.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
29.2 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, it shall be severed without affecting remaining provisions.
29.3 These Terms, together with all Policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between the Parties and supersede all prior representations, communications, and agreements.
